Acorn to Oak Gardens currently have an exciting opportunity for a landscaping apprentice to join our team! Ìý
Works based across the Mornington Peninsula through to Northern Suburbs & everywhere inbetween.Ìý
We do mostly hardscaping, with some softscaping included.Ìý
Responsibilities for this position include: Ìý
- To assist in maintaining and developing the designated areas to the required standard in a timely manner.Ìý
- Assist in the maintenance and construction of new/replacement garden beds and tree maintenance/planting.ÌýÌý
- Grass cutting (using walk-behind, ride-on and our-front mowers, edges and brush cutters).ÌýÌý
- General tidying up and rubbish removal.ÌýÌý
- Weed control (manual removal and minor herbicide use).ÌýÌý
- Assure quality of work is performed to a high standard in accordance with expected standards.ÌýÌý
- Complete study and on job components to meet qualification requirements for Cert III Landscaping, which includes travel for training purposes.ÌýÌý
To be successful you will need to have the following:Ìý
Must have:Ìý
- Ability to undertake manual/physical work.Ìý
- Genuine interest in landscaping.Ìý
- Punctual, reliable and energetic.Ìý
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.Ìý
- Must have car & Licence
